Three Reading FC players have been singled out for their excellent displays throughout the season in the Who Scored’s League One team of the season so far.

The Royals are having a superb season on the pitch despite all the turmoil off the pitch.

They started the season in fine form under Ruben Selles before he departed in December to join Championship side Hull City.

Noel Hunt has managed to keep the momentum going for a play-off push since taking over from Selles and his team currently sit in 9th position on 50 points from 32 games, just three points outside the top six.

The Royals currently have the most players of any team in the league in the Who Scored team of the season.

Joel Pereira is in goal with an average rating of 6.9, while Lewis Wing is in midfield with a rating of 7.3 and Harvey Knibbs with a rating of 7.1

Wing has been the heartbeat of the Reading team in central midfield and has four goals and six assists to his name in the league having become known for hitting long range screamers throughout his time with the club.

Meanwhile, Knibbs is Reading’s top scorer this season with 11 League One goals from 29 matches.

That tally puts him in 6th position in the division top scorers, with also two assists to his name.

Reading face an away trip to Wigan Athletic this weekend as they look to maintain their push for a top six finish.
