A WOMAN had her electric scooter stolen from her while walking through a Reading park.
The victim, who was in her 40s, was approached by two men while she was in Waterloo Park off Elgar Road on Friday, July 16.
They pushed her to the floor and threatened to stab her during the robbery, which took place between 3.45pm and 5.45pm.
She sustained grazing and bruising, but did not require hospital treatment.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The first attacker is said to be aged between 17 and 19, is white, with mousey brown hair, short on the sides and curled on top, which fell onto his face.
He was clean-shaven and was wearing a red jumper, grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms and trainers. He spoke with a local accent.
The second offender is also a white male aged between 17 and 19.
He was slightly taller than the first offender with dark brown hair, which was slicked back.
He was wearing dark clothing, possibly jeans and a jacket. He had his own scooter with him which was black, grey and red in colour.
Designated investigator Zoe Purnell, of the Priority Crime Team based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident to please come forward and contact police.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have mobile phone, CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area, or who recognises the description of either offender.
“The victim, thankfully, was not seriously hurt, but this was an extremely distressing incident.
