THAMES Water’s Chief Financial Officer has stepped down, the utilities provider has announced.
Alistair Cochran has announced he is set to leave the role while the company continues to struggle amid rising debts and public scrutiny.
It comes just days after the company secured billions in loans to secure it over the next couple of months, while it seeks to restructure and find funding for long-term continuation.
He also acted as the interim CEO between June 2023 and January last year.
Stuart Thom, director of group finance, has been selected to act as interim financial officer while the company seeks a more permanent replacement.
Mr Cochran will have completed the process of stepping down by Monday, March 31.
