The owner of a tech and vape store in Reading town centre has applied to sell alcohol.

Hardeep Singh, from Top Choice Gadgets, is seeking permission to sell wine, beer, and spirits from his store in Market Place.

The drinks would be sold for consumption off the premises from 8am to 11pm Monday to Sunday – the store is currently open from 11am to 7.30pm.

The small store opened recently, and currently sells gadget repairs, vapes and screen protectors for phones.

Its ‘you break, we fix’ service involves mobile phones, laptops and computer repairs, screen replacements and unlocking.

Additionally, Top Choice Gadgets buys phones, and sells accessories such as chargers and ear phones.
