A Mexican-inspired fast food chain in Reading town centre could keep on selling tacos, nachos and more for those looking for a late-night bite.
Taco Bell opened at the Broad Street Mall in the town centre in December 2019, and has been serving up tacos, nachos, sweet treats and drinks since then.
Now, the company wants to keep on serving customers until late at night on weekends.
Taco Bell applied for late night refreshments until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
The chain closes at 11pm each night, which it would continue to do Sunday to Thursday if the application is granted.
In order for the late night sales to take place, Taco Bell requires a premises licence from Reading Borough Council.
A statutory consultation into the application is currently live.

Taco Bell has been contacted for a statement. It is currently open from 10am to 11pm each day, with halal meat being available.
The American chain opened in the unit previously occupied by Footlocker and the Eggla Asian food store.
