ALL PARKRUN events in Reading and Wokingham boroughs scheduled for tomorrow Saturday, February 19, have been cancelled.
As a result of severe weather caused by Storm Eunice, this week’s parkruns at Prospect Park, Thames Valley Park, Woodley, Dinton Pastures and California Country Park will not go ahead due to safety concerns.
A spokesperson said on social media: “It may be disappointing, but we always need to prioritise safety first.”
Bracknell parkrun at Great Hollands Recreation Ground has also been cancelled. Parkruns in nearby areas are going ahead. Runners are advised to check event pages online by visiting: parkrun.org.uk
