SOUTH BERKSHIRE HOCKEY CLUB’s teams were back in friendly action in preparation ahead of their league campaigns.

South Berks Men’s 1s smashed 10 past Camberley & Farnborough in their friendly fixture at Cantley Park.

Paul Kaplanski and Sam Fox-Harvey both netted four goals each, while Calum Millar and Neil Bennet added to the convincing scoreline.

South Berks host Milton Keynes this weekend in their opening match in the South Central Men’s Premier Division 2.

South Berkshire Ladies 1s begin their league season away at Phoenix Reading 1s in the South Central North Division 1.

South Berkshire Ladies 2s played against Guildford in their final pre-season fixture.

They are back at home this Saturday when they welcome Oxford University 3s in South Central North Division 3.

South Berkshire Ladies 3s make the trip to Marlow 4s in their opening game in South Central North Division 3.

South Berkshire Ladies 4s suffered a 5-0 loss to Guildford 5s in their final friendly match.

They are at home on Saturday at Cantley Park against Amersham & Chalfont 4s in South Central Thames Division 3.

South Berks Ladies 5s conceded seven without reply in their friendly match against Guildford 6s.

They face an away visit to Amersham & Chalfont 7s in their first game of the new season in South Central Thames Division 4.
