Clothes shop Flamingo Vintage, which opened in August, has applied for retrospective consent for its signage.
The unit it occupies in Queen Victoria Street was previously a branch of US-based coffee shop chain Starbucks.
Designs in a submitted advertising application show the Flamingo Vintage branding which has replaced the black paint and white lettering of Starbucks.
The coffee company, which started in Seattle, still has branches in Reading, including at Coffee Corner where Kings Road meets Broad Street, as well as drive through and several kiosks.
The application for Flamingo Vintage can be seen on Reading Borough Council’s planning website, searching for reference 231205.
