SHORT films created by budding movie makers will be screened at a Reading arts centre next month.

The Rising Sun is hosting a collaboration between itself, Real Time Video and The Open Mind Group.

Each of the films being shown have been made in the greater Reading area, and are original creations.

As well as the showcase, Stand Up Cinema aims to be a networking event, giving established and aspiring artists and filmmakers a chance to share ideas, tips and resources.

It takes place from 7pm, Friday, September 8, at the Silver Street venue. Entry is free.

For more details, or to request a screening of work, email: info@real-time.org.uk
