Select Car Leasing partners with MotorEasy for new aftersales care suites

SELECT Car Leasing has announced it is set to collaborate in a new partnership with MotorEasy.

It is part of endeavours by Select Car Leasing (SCL) to expand its range of services available to customers, as it means that MotorEasy will be able to provide a number of solutions to SCL customers.

MotorEasy specialises in automotive aftersales and is launching its first range of insurance products, its Lease Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP).

This covers the shortfall between an initial insurer’s payout and the balance still owed on a lease agreement when a vehicle is declared a total loss.

From November every customer who leases a vehicle with Select will automatically receive 30 days free GAP Insurance.

It is also opening up alloy insurance, cosmetic insurance, and tyre insurance offerings.

These cover the cost of repairs to damaged rims; scratches, dents, scuffs and any other bodywork damage; and damaged tyres, respectively.

MotorEasy is set to bring warranty cover soon, which will provide add-on protection for cars on lease terms that exceed their original manufacturer cover period, with vehicle servicing and repairs set to be added in the future.

SCL customers will also gain access to a unique ‘Digital Garage’ which will provide a central location for a car’s history and documentation, which helps users to manage and maintain their vehicles.

Both Select Car Leasing and MotorEasy are headquartered in Reading.
