SEND individuals with a keen eye for physical activities will have the opportunity to hone their skills at an upcoming summer camp.

Reading Football Club’s three day SEND summer sport camp, which takes place at The Avenue School, will feature multi-sports sessions focusing on developing engagement and fundamental athletic skills.

Sessions are run by qualified coaches and support staff with experience working with young people with disabilities who will endeavour to create a ‘fun and safe’ learning environment.

Sports covered include: boccia, new age kurling, football, team games and tennis.

Parents of youngsters with epilepsy should notify the Trust before booking sessions so specifications of the child’s condition can be discussed in detail to ensure their health and safety.

The programme is open to SEND children aged from eight-18 and participants must bring their own lunches.
