AN AMATEUR band is set to get South Reading music lovers rocking out on Saturday, October 14.
Bad Penny will take to the stage at Whitley Social Club’s home on Northumberland Avenue for Rock Night, blasting out classics by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and many more.
Jason Stretch, who delighted visitors at the start of the year, will be joined by Rob Owens on drums and bass player Chris Wilson.
Non-members will be required to pay £2 at the door; entry is free for members.
The bar will be open from 2pm, with the band starting at around 9pm.
