Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Whitley.
The incident took place at around 7pm on Tuesday 17 March on Lower Meadow Road, where three men approached two men in their twenties who were sitting in a vehicle. The offenders assaulted the victims and stole a number of personal items before fleeing the scene.
Police say the men were seen getting into a black Mercedes on Blagdon Road after the attack.
All three offenders are described as black men wearing all-black clothing and black face coverings. Fortunately, the victims did not sustain any injuries.
Detective Constable Georgia Parrott of the Priority Crime Team said: “I would urge anyone who may have been in the area or who may have information about this incident to please contact police. If you have CCTV footage in the area, or any dash-cam footage if you were driving nearby at the time, please check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
“I know this may cause concern, but I would like to reassure the public that we are investigating this as a priority.”
