A ROBBER forced his victim to take money out of a cash machine in Reading and police are now appealing for witnesses.

The incident took place around 10pm on Saturday, September 16.

The victim was at the junction of Oxford Road and Salisbury Road, when the robber told them to go to a hole in the wall and take the cash out.

The offender was described as a white man in his mid-thirties around 5ft 7in. He had an average build, short dark hair and no beard. He was wearing dark coloured clothing.

Investigating officer, PC Camelia Pacurar based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch.

“If you have any information you can report this online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230416792.
