A plan to convert flats into two self-contained homes in Tilehurst has been resubmitted.
Last November, Reading Borough Council refused permission to convert an end-of-terrace house in Kentwood Hill into two homes.
Extensions would have been added, but a planning officer felt the proposal would create an ‘unacceptable standard of accommodation’ for future occupants.
The revised plan involves additions comprising a single-storey rear extension, a loft conversion and a rear dormer to create a one-bed home and a five-bed house.
The application can be seen on Reading Borough Council’s planning portal, under reference 240095.
