A CELEBRATION of bricks and mortar bookshops is to take place later this month, with a Reading town centre store front and centre of the events.
Bookshop Day is on Saturday, October 14, and will see book retailers hold fun events for all ages, including author talks, storytime sessions, and book signings, all on this year’s theme of Bringing People Together
Waterstones in Broad Street is to welcome the author of the bestselling Murder Most Unladylike series, Robin Stevens. From 11am, she will signing copies of The Body in the Blitz, the second book in her new series The Ministry of Unladylike Activity.
Across the country there are events with Geri Halliwell, Miriam Margolyes, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Richard Armitage, Tom Fletcher, Anna James, Tomi Oyemakinde among others.
