READING FC star Sanne Troeslgaard has left the Royals after the club and the player agreed a mutual termination of her contract.
The Danish international joined Reading in January 2022 from Swedish side FC Rosengard and scored eight goals in 53 matches.
She was used in various different roles throughout her time with Reading, including central midfield, full-back and as the main striker.
She now leaves the Royals who are currently in 10th position in the Women’s Championship.
A statement from the club reads: “Reading Football Club has today announced the departure of Sanne Troelsgaard, following the mutual termination of her contract.
“Everyone at Reading Football Club extends its gratitude to Sanne for her significant contribution to the team and wishes her the very best in her upcoming challenges and future endeavors.”
Troelsgaard posted a farewell message on her Instagram: “My time at Reading has come to an end. I wish everyone the best and look forward to continue to follow and cheer on the Royals.”
