READING’S shoppers snapped up a bargain at the weekend – everything was free.
The House of 0.0% paid a visit to the town centre to giveaway samples of a range of popular drinks including Gordon’s and Seedlip gins, and Guinness. And they were all alcohol-free versions.
On Saturday, the team set up stall outside Sainsbury’s on Broad Street, and had three days sharing the joys of these free drinks.
The samples included a straight Gordon’s and tonic, a Seedlip Grove 42 and Clementine Tonic, and a Guinness Draught, all with 0.0% alcohol content.
A spokesperson said: “The House of 0.0% had a brilliant time in Reading, sharing the message that 0.0% drinks don’t have to lack in variance, taste and flavour.
“We’ve had a great reception from people keen to try their favourite drinks as their delicious alcohol-free alternative.
“There is a growing demand for no and low alcohol options and we’re delighted to have shared the possibilities with Reading shoppers.”
