A PHOTOGRAPHER from Reading has been shortlisted for the British Photography Awards.
Elle Martin, the owner of Ctrl Creative Studios, is a fashion photographer who works to tell visual stories through her work and champions inclusivity and diverse representation through her art.
She is among those who have been selected in this year’s British Photography Awards, which celebrates the artistic and technical work of photographers across the UK.
Her work with Justice Bynoe has been nominated in the fashion category, which saw her photographing Bynoe for Savage Fenty, the lingerie brand founded by musician Rihanna.
Martin joins the like of Dominic Beavan, Kate Ransome, Brendan McIlhargey, and Andrew Coley.
Martin said of the work: “Was with another phenomenal woman, Justice, my sister and my best friend.
“We put this shoot together for Savage Fenty as we were both fans of the brand but disappointed with their representation of plus size women.
“This image is completely unedited and Justice is makeup free.”
