Reading man sentenced to four years, six months, on drug supply charges

A READING man has been has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison following a number of drug supply offences.

Following a joint investigation by Thames Valley Police and the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), Armando Kaci, aged 24, of Regent Street, Reading was sentenced at reading Crown Court on Friday, August 17.

He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of both Class A and Class B drugs, and other offences, including possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, possession with the intent to supply cannabis and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property, were also taken into account at sentencing.

It follows the seizure of a number of items during the search of by officers of an address in Regent Street, Reading, back in March this year.

Materials relating to drug supply were found alongside £20,000 in cash, multiple mobile phones, and a large drone.

Detective Sergeant Nicky Bartlett, of SEROCU, said: “The supply of drugs is not tolerated in our communities and Kaci has been jailed for his part in it.
