A man from Reading has been jailed after pleading guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
Mark Iremonger, 39, of Starlings Drive, Reading was sentenced to three years and seven months in prison after his hearing at Reading Crown Court.
Iremonder was stopped in his vehicle by police last November and was found to have 29 wraps of cocaine and 22 wraps of heroin, along with £860 in cash. The street value of the drugs was estimated to be around £1,020.
Investigating officer PC Liam Steele, said: “We will proactively target and prosecute offenders and our activity will be both visible and covert aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders involved in the supply of drugs.
