THE FIRST batch of performers tipped to play next year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals has been announced.

Jack Saunders announced the string of bands and acts that would be taking to the stage when the event returns next August on his BBC Radio 1 show.

First among them was one of four headliners, rapper Travis Scott, who returns to the festival after numerous appearances, including in 2018.

Scott will be joined by hard rock purveyors Bring Me The Horizon, who are also making a return to the event, as well as Irish singer-songwriter Hozier.

Chappell Roan was announced to be rounding out the headliners for this year, confirming rumours which abounded earlier today, Thursday, December 5.

They’ll be joined by AJ Tracey, Rudim3ntal, Wallows, Softplay, Alessi Rose, Mannequin P*ssy, The Chats, Lola Young, and Bloc Party on the Friday.
