READING FC fans staged a sit in protest following the end of their League One opener against club owner Dai Yongge.
Royals fans groups came together to form protest group ‘Sell Before We Dai’.
Hundreds of fans stayed behind at the final whistle and gathered at Coppell’s Corner to voice their displeasure at the owner and display banners.

The Royals have faced numerous punishments for financial mismanagement under the ownership of Dai Yongge, who took over at the club in 2017.
Reading have been served three winding up petitions during his time in charge of the club and have already been placed under two strict transfer embargoes by the EFL this summer for missed payments to HMRC.
The club announced last week that owner Dai Yongge and chief executive Dayong Pang are working to find new investors to provide ‘significant financial support’.
