Reading FC fans turned out in their hundreds for a protest at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park after the news of the potential sale of Bearwood Park.
Organised by protest group Sell Before We Dai, they have encouraged both Reading and Wycombe fans to join them in a peaceful protest.
A statement released by SBWD reads: “The deal is not done yet, there is still time for the Dais, Pang and Couhigs to do the right thing and stop it.

“In parallel we, with STAR, will explore every option, including forced administration if necessary, to prevent this deal from going through.
“This asset stripping has already deterred potential investors. The previous that the club would be sold as one package has been broken and means we must continue to make a noise.”
News circulated on Thursday that Reading FC owner Dai Yongge and CEO Dayong Pang were close to agreeing a deal which would see them receive around £25million for the sale of the Royals’ training ground to Wycombe.
It was announced just last week that the owner was ‘open’ to offers for the training ground separate to the sale of the club.
Reading moved to Bearwood in the 2019/20 season after Yongge invested around £50million in the development of the new training site.
