Reading FC defender Tyler Bindon has admitted that he is not sure what the future holds for him this month surrounding transfer speculation.
The teenage defender has caught the attention of plenty of teams due to his outstanding performances for Reading across the past two seasons.
Reading signed Bindon on a free transfer from Los Angeles FC in 2023 and after impressing in EFL Cup games at the start of the 2023/24 campaign, he forced his way into the League One side.
Still yet to turn 20, Bindon has racked up more than 60 league appearances for the Royals and has won 13 international caps for New Zealand.
Reading will be under pressure to raise money this month and are likely to sell first-team players with Bindon being linked to a host of Championship clubs.
Speaking to BBC Radio Berkshire about his future, Bindon said: I haven’t talked to anyone. I’m here right now and that’s all that matters right now, I’m living in the moment.
“It’s not in my hands unfortunately. Whatever happens, I will deal with it.
“In my head I always like to live in the moment, be myself and don’t like the outside noise. I just focus on what I’m doing.
“The team we have now is very strong and we can push for potential top six hopefully. If something happens in the January window we have to deal with that as a group and move on.”
