Reading FC Community Trust is bringing back its popular Primary PE Conference this June, offering teachers and school sports staff across the county a free, full day of professional development, inspiration and networking at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Taking place on Friday 19th June, the conference returns after a year’s break and promises to be better than ever, with practical workshops delivered by Community Trust staff alongside guest speakers sharing best practice and fresh ideas for primary PE settings.
The event is open to teachers, HLTAs, teaching assistants, school employed sports coaches and sports coaching apprentices, and organisers are encouraging anyone working in primary school PE to register their place now.
Thanks to the support of sponsor GREENSHEETS, every place at the conference is completely free of charge.
Phil Stafford of Reading FC Community Trust said: “This conference is one of our favourites to put on. By helping Primary School teachers develop their PE skills, we can help thousands of children lead healthier lifestyles and have more fun. And through support from GREENSHEETS we can offer this conference free.”
Claire Watts from GREENSHEETS added: “We are delighted to be supporting this fantastic event, ensuring it is free to attend for those working in Primary School settings. We know how important the work that primary PE teachers do in helping children build lifelong healthy habits. It is great to be able to get behind this excellent professional development opportunity.”
