Reading FC manager Leam Richardson has outlined his plans for the upcoming January transfer window.
The new Royals boss will be looking to strengthen his squad when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year with Reading looking to move further away from the League One relegation places.
Richardson has already made one addition to his squad after free agent Randell Williams joined the club on a short term deal until January.
Reading had a busy summer transfer window which saw several incomings and outgoings as the club prepared for a new chapter under the ownership of Rob Couhig and Todd Trosclair.
Speaking on the upcoming transfer window, Richardson said: “Every transfer window you should come out of it stronger. That doesn’t always necessarily mean you’ve got to have loads of additions – you have to lose people at the same time.”
“The next three to four transfer windows are everything for this football club in my opinion.
“We will do things in the right, methodical and sustainable way but I believe that every transfer window you have to come out of it stronger than you were before.”
