The Reading Haydn Choir, which performs three times each year, returns to the town for its Christmas concert.
Conducted by Mandy Kesel, with accompanying continuo provided by Ian Westley, the performance promises plenty of traditional and much-loved carols, as well as a rendition of ‘A Winter’s Night’, by Celia McDowall.
As is customary for the choir, their concert also raises money for charity.
This season they are supporting Faith in Action, a global faith-based organisation that tackles injustices worldwide, and Launchpad, which supports homeless people in the Reading area.
Donations are made via a retiring collection after the show.
Tickets can be bought for £5 at the door, although under 19-year-olds enter free of charge.
The concert is at St. William of York Church, Reading.
It will take place on Saturday, December 6, at 7pm.
