A wine delivery service has won permission to bring high-quality drinks to people’s homes throughout Reading.
The Passions Wines business will be conducting alcohol deliveries from the Magenta self-storage facility at 2-4 Darwin Close in Whitley.
The deliveries will operate from 8am to 5pm each day.
Passion Wines has been allowed to operate this service after submitting a premises licence for delivery-only alcohol sales from Reading Borough Council.
A statutory consultation into the application ended on Tuesday, February 11.
No neighbours objected, so the application was granted by the council’s licensing department following that date.
According to Companies House, Passion Wines was incorporated on November 11, 2024, by a man and woman from Romania who currently live in Calcot.
The company does not appear to have any online presence yet other than its Companies House listing.
