READING Buses has released a statement following an incident involving a bus earlier today (Wednesday, March 28).
Around 11am, a single-decker Leopard 3 bus was involved in a road traffic incident on the Kings Road roundabout, where it meets Queens Road, in central Reading.
The bus was struck by a lorry, though there are no reported injuries.
Reading Buses is working with emergency services as well as conducting its own investigations into the incident.
“We can confirm that one of our leopard buses was struck by a lorry this morning.
“There are no reported injuries at the moment, and our team are making sure the driver is supported.
“We will do our usual investigation and help the police should they require it including supplying CCTV footage from on board the bus. We cannot comment any further at this time.”
