READING Borough Council has laid out a number of activities to keep youngsters happy during the Easter holidays.
A range of activities includes theatre, crafts, and arts for all budgets, needs, and abilities as the school term comes to a close.
Rhymetime is returning to libraries across Reading, where children can take part in activities designed to introduce them to language and rhyme in fun, engaging 25-minute sessions.
Sessions take place at Battle, Caversham, Palmer Park, Southcote, Tilehurst, Whitley, and Central Libraries.

The Toy Library has also opened at Reading Central Library, which allows children to have access to a range of toys and games aimed at all ages, and also includes the hire of larger play items such as outdoor games for parties.

Reading Museum is offering a number of Easter-themed activities such as educational egg hunting in The Big Green Easter Egg Hunt.
It is also hosting crafting sessions where children can make paper shred sheep and paper roll rabbits using recycled and biodegradable materials.
Crafting takes place at Reading Museum on Wednesday, April 15, with no booking necessary and £1 entry fee.

The museum is also offering an opportunity to work with local artist Rebecca Howard on pieces inspired by Reading’s rivers.
The sessions take place at Reading Museum on Wednesday, April 12, and The Museum of English Rural Life on Thursday, April 13.

Animals! by Dens and Signals is coming to South Street on Wednesday 5 April, telling the story of The Animal General Meeting, where one like species hasn’t turned up despite causing all of the trouble… humans.

Prospect Park’s newly installed play area is open in time for the holidays, and the new Ranger Station is also offering accessible 9-hole minigolf as well as low-ropes activites.
