Situated above a row of shops in the heart of Lower Earley, Reading you will find Power of Pilates:  a light, spacious boutique Pilates studio that is equipped to offer group reformer and group mat Pilates classes. The studio space is perfect. There is plenty of room to move and with light coming in from all sides you will soon forget the hustle and bustle of your day to day life.

Power of Pilates has been teaching Pilates to the local community since 2007 and are very proud to still teach many of their original clients on a weekly basis. The studio has a strong focus on achieving client results using group mat and reformer Pilates. The timetable has a range of Pilates classes of varying intensity to ensure that all ages, fitness levels and abilities are catered for. Power of Pilates only teach Pilates. You will not find anything else on the timetable.

“Everyone has a different goal” Claire says. “Whether you want to increase your strength and overall fitness, to improve your posture or to be able to continue your hobbies such as golf or gardening – we will work with you to reach your goals.”

“At Power of Pilates we offer exceptional teaching and a warm, caring personal service and this has created such a brilliant community. Our team of instructors are amazing; they all have an incredibly high standard of Pilates qualifications, and it is important to me that we all share the same passion and vision for our clients. Claire’s passion for Pilates was born 25 years ago when Pilates was given to her as rehabilitation following major back surgery. Not only did this help her to retrain her body but it also inspired her to share her passion for Pilates with others. “Your body is the most important thing you have and there is nothing more important than to prioritise your health and wellness. Everyone should think of Pilates as tuning up the car for a long journey”.

The popularity of the Studio is reflected in that many of the Power of Pilates group classes are currently waitlisted and the studio is having to increase its timetable for the third time in the last 6 months.
