A newly opened Five Guys restaurant in Winnersh has enjoyed a strong start, attracting large numbers of customers during its first week of trading.
The American burger chain, known for its made-to-order burgers and hand-cut fries, opened its doors to the public earlier this month and has already exceeded expectations, according to management.
Khaled Seliem, district manager for Five Guys, said the opening day saw people travelling from across the surrounding area to visit the new outlet.
“The opening day exceeded our expectations, with people coming from all over to try a fresh burger and fries,” he told Wokingham Today.
Among the most popular items were the restaurant’s new Loaded Fries, which feature a range of toppings and have recently been added to the menu.
Mr Seliem said the Winnersh branch is open every day from 8am until 11pm, offering customers the full range of Five Guys favourites, including breakfast options earlier in the day.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone,” he added.
The opening adds to the growing number of food and drink venues in the area, as Winnersh continues to attract new businesses and visitors.
