LAST WEEK, Thames Valley Police successfully arrest a wanted person, partly thanks to sound work by a passerby and its dogs unit.
A member of the public stopped PCSOs having claimed to witness someone selling stolen goods outside the shops on Northumberland Avenue, Whitley.
After failing to stop when challenged, the officers followed them on to Canterbury Road, where they were stopped by a dogs unit.
In a post on social media, TVP confirmed: “[It] turns out they were wanted, which would explain why they failed to stop. Arrested and en route to custody.”
