Charity of the Year, Stepping Forward, sponsor Roc Search
A group which supports people with disabilities in the Reading area has been praised for helping claimants negotiate the bureaucracy involved in claiming through the benefit system.
Stepping Forward facilitates and accelerates access to essential services, information, resources and life opportunities so that all people affected by disability can live a full life.
The nominator for Stepping Forward, based in Southview Park, Caversham, said they also aided people overseas with supplies and medicines.
The Charity of the Year award is sponsored by Roc Search.
