A physical therapy team and their founder have been praised for their work in alleviating pain and promoting health and wellbeing in the community.
A nominator for the Business in Action award said of Michael Manley: “A couple of years ago Michael started up Zeers Therapy helping people in the community with their aches and pains and giving them sports massages and therapy.
“He attends local events like rugby matches, pride events and anywhere where he can perform his massages. He’s worked tirelessly and many, many hours building his own business up in the last two years, gaining a great reputation with local people and he really deserves this award.”
The team were commended by the nominator for their outstanding commitment to supporting the Reading community.
“Over the past year, their exceptional service and unwavering dedication have significantly impacted individuals suffering from various injuries and health conditions,” said their nominator.
“Their innovative approach and use of advanced therapeutic techniques have not only alleviated pain and promoted healing but also empowered patients with the knowledge and tools for long-term wellness.
“Known for their compassionate care and supportive environment, the team at Zeers Therapy takes the time to listen to patients, understand their unique challenges and tailor treatment plans accordingly,” they said.
“This personalised approach has fostered strong relationships within the community, earning the trust and respect of those they serve.”
Zeers Therapy has actively engaged with the Reading community through outreach programs, workshops, and educational sessions, they added.
“Their tireless efforts have improved individual health and well-being and strengthened the fabric of the Reading community.”
The team were also nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award sponsored by Rabbits Vehicle Hire.
