Legacy Award – sponsor Vale & West

Vale & West chartered accountants are sponsoring this year’s Legacy Award at the Pride of Reading Awards.

The Legacy Award recognises an individual who has made a remarkable contribution to Reading through their commitment and determination, having made a significant lasting impact on the town.

Lee Gardner, Partner at Vale & West, said at the launch event: “As a Reading man, born and bred, and with Vale & West having been around almost since the Ark, we feel that this fits with what we want to do, which is put back into Reading.

“We have benefitted so much from being a part of Reading, in all of its shades and its character through the years, so we wanted to boost our support of the town and do what we can.”

He explained: “The community here in Reading means different things to different people in the firm: we’re local in the nicest possible sense – to me, I’ve always looked fondly at everything the town offers in terms of its vibrant, cosmopolitan ethos, which is something to be cherished.
