The Chris Tarrant Award – sponsor The Oracle

The Oracle has returned once again to sponsor The Chris Tarrant Award, which recognises someone who lives or works in Reading who deserves special recognition.

Andy Briggs at The Oracle said: “We’ve always sponsored The Chris Tarrant Award from the very first nominations, and it’s an amazing category to sponsor.

“Every year is different, very emotional, we get to meet outstanding, amazing people from Reading.

“Looking at the Pride of Reading Awards, there are so many people who are keen to sponsor the event, so we’re in a very privileged position.

“I love being here in Reading – the biggest and best town in the UK – and we are blown away every year by the amazing people of this town; it’s first class.”

Paul Kirton added: “It’s the most warming part of our job to see all the inspiring people and hear their stories. It’s so great to recognise people that have made a difference.

“It’s always such a nice atmosphere and everyone is always so genuinely pleased for everyone whether they have won an award or not.”
