Charity of the Year, Trevor Goodall – New Life Special Care Babies, sponsor Roc Search
Trevor Goodall and his charity New LIfe Special Care Babies “do truly incredible work raising money for special care baby units across the UK.”
The charity was launched by Trevor in 1995 in memory of his sons Joshua and Samuel, who were born three months early weighing just 1lb 1oz and 1lb 3oz.
“Sadly, they both died after a week, but their struggle inspired Trevor to do something and to make a difference,” said his nominator for Charity of the Year.
“Trevor is now relentlessly proactive when it comes to supporting special care units, organising countless events throughout the year and making a huge impact.
“Can’t think of a more deserving winner and he’d be so honoured to win,” they added.
The Charity of the Year award is sponsored by Roc Search.
