TWO FURTHER arrests have been made following an incident of affray in Reading.
As the investigation into an incident of affray in St Mary’s Butts in Reading continues, a 21-year-old and a 27-year-old, both from Reading, have been arrested in connection.
It comes after the arrest of a 32-year-old man from Ealing also in connection, who has since been bailed.
At around 3.40am on Saturday, July 29, officers found a man with several injuries, including a stab wound to his shoulder, near the junction of Oxford Road and St Mary’s Butts.
Police say further investigation suggests that a robbery took place, which resulted in a fight between three men.
Detective Constable Brandon Morley based at Reading police station, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and three arrests have been made.
“We are still appealing for the public’s help in our investigation, and we would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident, but has not yet come forward to please do so.
