THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after two incidents, including robbery at knife point, in Reading.
It follows an incident that took place at Briants Avenue, where, at around 5.20pm on Monday, January 8, four male offenders chased a teenage boy into Marsack Street.
The victim is believed to have successfully fled, but around ten minutes later four male offenders robbed another teenage boy at knife point in the alleyway between Briants Avenue and Flambards.
They stole a watch, though this was later recovered, and four 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the robbery.
Police are seeking witnesses to either incident, but are particularly keen to trace the first victim, and are also seeking any CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage which could aid their investigation.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Mike Hanson, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to either of these incidents to please come forward.
“We are specifically keen to trace the victim of the first incident who was reportedly chased by the four offenders as he has yet to come forward.
“He is described as being a white teenager.
“Additionally we would ask anyone with dash-cam footage or CCTV or witness information to come forward.
“Anyone with information can provide it through our online pages or by calling 101 quoting reference 43240011100.
“Or if you do not wish to speak to the police you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and they will take your information 100% anonymously.”
