THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a number of robberies in Reading last week.
It follows a confrontation at around 6pm on Sunday, October 8, where a boy in his teens was approached by a group of males in McDonald’s at the Riverside in the Oracle.
The group demanded the victim to give them his bag and threatened him, so he handed over his Louis Vuitton bag.
A member of the group attempted to take a jacket and a mobile phone from a second victim.
At 6.05pm on the same day, a third victim was walking along Cross Street when he was approached by a group of males who followed him from Broad Street.
The victim was surrounded by the offenders, who grabbed his hat, and told the victim to hand over his phone and Apple Watch, which were then taken from him.
One offender was described as a male around 5ft 9ins tall, wearing a black Trapstar puffer jacket with the hood up and a black face mask.
A second offender was described as a male of around 5ft 5ins tall and of large build.
He was wearing a grey tracksuit, a black mask, and had black sideburns.
A third offender was described as a male of around 5ft 9ins tall and slim build.
He has short black afro hair and was wearing a black tracksuit and a face mask.
No victims were injured during the course of the incidents.
Investigating officer PC Katherine Darling, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have witnessed either incident to get in touch.
“Also anyone who may have been driving in the area and has a dash-cam, please check the recordings and contact us if it has picked up anything that could assist the investigation.
