THAMES Valley Police has released CCTV images as part of an appeal for witnesses to an incident of grievous bodily harm.

At around 9.40pm on Saturday, July 2, a man in his sixties was drinking at the Turks Head public house on London Road, Reading, when he was assaulted.

He went to use the toilets at the venue and was followed in by three offenders, who assaulted him and rushed out.

The victim sustained a fractured cheekbone and a cut to his head, requiring hospital treatment.

He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer PC Amy Turbin, based at Reading Police Station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the men in this image to please get in touch, as we believe they may have vital information about this incident.
