Police are appealing to trace a specific witness following an attempted robbery in Reading in which a woman was injured.
Thames Valley Police said the incident happened at about 02:10 GMT on Tuesday 13 January in the underpass on Cow Lane.
Officers said two men followed a woman in her forties before pushing her to the ground, causing facial injuries. The suspects then fled the scene.
The first offender is described as a white man who was tall and slim, wearing a hooded top with the hood up and a face covering. The second offender is described as a black man, also tall and slim, wearing a hooded top and face covering.
Police said the victim was in possession of a colourful e-scooter at the time of the attack.
Investigators are particularly keen to speak to a dog walker who helped the victim immediately after the incident and is believed to have witnessed what happened.
PC Freya Renton, the investigating officer, said: “We are appealing for this specific witness to come forward as we believe they may have information that would help us with our investigation.”
