THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a kidnap in Reading.
It follows an incident which took place in Elgar Road South on Wednesday, May 22, when, between 8pm and 8.20pm a 20-year-old man was assaulted by three men.
The victim was then forced into a black car, in convoy with another black hatchback.
The victim was released a short time later with minor injuries to his face, but he did not require hospital treatment.
Three men have been arrested, aged 24, 25, and 27, all from Reading, in connection with the offence, and released on bail until Tuesday, August 20.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Stuart Streeter said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault and kidnap, has any footage of the offence or of the offenders or vehicles, to please contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible.
