THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Reading.
Police reported that at around 4.15am on Wednesday, February 23, a man was assaulted and had a black backpack stolen on West Street, near to the Oxford Road, in Reading.
The offender is described by police as being a black man with short, curly dark hair.
Becky Oliver, detective constable at Reading police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, or who has any information which could help our investigation, to get in touch.”
