THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision earlier today, Monday, May 15.
Police are encouraging anyone who may have information that could assist the investigation to come forward following the incident in Wokingham.
While driving along Reading Road, Wokingham, a black Vauxhall Astra was involved in a collision with a pedestrian, a man in his 70s.
Despite the best efforts of emergency responders, the victim died as a result of the serious injuries he sustained.
Currently no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
PC Emma Card of the Joint Operations Roads policing Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident in which a man has sadly died our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
“We are carrying out an investigation and we would ask anyone with information or dash-cam footage to please get in touch.
