THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Reading.
It comes after, at around 6pm on Sunday, October 13, a boy in his teens was approached by two offenders on the junction of Queen Victoria Street and Friar Street.
The offenders took his mobile phone, a grey IPhone Pro Max, and put him in a headlock, during which he fell unconscious for a short time.
While he was unconscious, the offenders also stole his grey shoulder bag.
The victim sustained minor injuries to the face and neck as well as a black eye, for which hospital treatment was required, but he has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Thomas Wheatman, based at reading police station, said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.
“We are asking anyone with information to please call 101 quoting reference 43240493602.
“Additionally we ask anyone with mobile phone, CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.

One of the offenders is described a white male, around 5ft 10ins tall, and was seen to be wearing all black clothing and a potentially Nike branded coat with a black balaclava and bag.
The other was described as being a male of a mixed heritage, around 5ft 11ins tall, with around four silver teeth, and was wearing a navy blue Nike tracksuit, which had a white stripe down it, and a black baseball cap.
