Thames Valley Police are appealing for a specific witness following an incident of outraging public decency in Forbury Gardens in Reading.
On Friday, September 5 between 8:10am and 8:25am, a woman in her twenties was walking through Forbury Gardens when she saw a man on a bench making hand movements over his trousers and around his belt while looking at her.
The offender is described as a white man in his sixties, around 5ft6in tall with a medium build, grey shoulder length hair and grey facial hair.
He was wearing a black raincoat, dark coloured trousers and was carrying a Sainsbury’s shopping bag.
The victim had seen another man who was pushing a pram through the park at this time and told him what she had seen.
Investigating officer, PC Salvador said, “We would like to speak to the man who talked to the victim, who was pushing a pram through the park at that time. If this is you, please call us on 101 quoting reference 43250454549.
“We are also appealing for any other witnesses to this incident to please come forward and let us know any information you may have.
