UPDATE: Body found in search for missing man

A BODY has been found in the search for a missing man from Reading.

Suchhem Gurung, aged 28, was last seen on Tuesday, June 7.

Following searches carried out by Thames Valley Police and Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue, a body was found on the night of Wednesday, June 8, which is believed to be Succhem.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Superintendent Zahid Aziz, based at Newbury police station, said: “Sadly following searches we have found the body of a man that we believe to be Succhem.

“His family have been informed and are being offered support.
